Patrix has tagged me and so like, a lot of these blog related formalities go, I should oblige. Moreover, this tag was pretty harmless without my need to reveal anything embarrassing, hence my decision to quickly get done with it. So before I go ahead with it, here are the rules:

1. Each player starts with 8 random facts/habits about themselves.
2. People who are tagged, write a blog post about their own 8 random things, and post these rules.
3. At the end of your post you need to tag 8 people and include their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment and tell them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
4. If you fail to do this within eight hours, you will not reach Third Series or attain your most precious goals for at least two more lifetimes.

So clearly scared out of my skins, after reading Rule #4, I decide to post my eight random facts. Here goes… *gulp*

1. I love music. Music that ranges from Hindustani classical to Rock. Problem is, my love for music doesn’t necessarily extend to just listening and shutting my mouth about it. I have to dissect its elements, categorize it in my mind (genre/sub-genre wise) and that might seem like anything, from highly pretentious to plain annoying to others. Of course, my slight training in music has given me this false hope that I can actually compose music. A case in point is this track I composed aeons ago and uploaded. 2. Predictably, I love movies and TV shows. I have become more of a TV Show junkie of late. Tastes range from comedies like Arrested Development, to drama like 24 and sci-fi like Heroes. Nuff said. Reading my blog more regularly will give a better idea.

3. I have this affliction. I sleep a lot. That is saying very little. My dad used to say, “Son, if you need to succeed in life, you have to cut down on your sleep.” How true.

4. I do crack lame jokes but I know when I am cracking them. You see, I know a lot.

5. I believe Douglas Adams is among the funniest writers to have inhabited earth.

6. The one thing about myself that I am proud of, is my metabolism. I have a pretty good appetite for a person of my slender frame. Thankfully, my body burns much of that, rendering trips to gyms and fitness centers redundant.

7. The one thing about myself that I am worried about, is the rate at which my hair is falling. While at present, it is possible to hide all the vast spaces of scalp-scape (if you will) beneath the increasingly tenuous layer of hair, this won’t last too long, I suppose. This will be even more worrying for my mom.

8. And finally, for the lack of having anything smart to say, I am single. Although, I already mentioned hair loss. Damn! (Ah! Now I get why I am still single.)

Okay, so here were my eight random facts. Following people, please oblige:

Keerthi, Mathew(van Kalip), The Decayed Canine, Etherdust, Amrita, Very Dangerous Gangleader, Gee, and since I don’t know who else to tag I will tag Sidin (with the hope that it will bring out another funny post from the stables of Domain Maximus. I hope he obliges puny souls like myself.)

Whew! Now I am safe.
